国际现金网Homes now account for 80% of the space using SandFree. That isn’t to say the restaurant, museum, and gymnasium markets have gone down. On the contrary, nothing has gone up less than 35% a year. Although our path to doing homes was circuitous, once there, we discovered the home market was ideal for the type of service we were offering.
SandFree started in the restaurant industry, and then moved to the museum field when some construction managers heard about the process. From there it went to gymnasiums, one of which was the Overbrook Presbyterian Church gymnasium. The gentleman we worked with on the Overbrook gymnasium, was an architect – Converse Winkler Architects – who had just purchased an old home. He thought this process would work well in his home. We ended up sanding his 3rd floor, which needed a color change, and then using SandFree on the 1st and 2nd floor where there was no color change needed.
“We knew our floors needed to be refinished – nothing had been done in 20 years. There were stains, from artwork and from water spills, wax remained in blotches. The rooms were packed with furniture. We were really concerned about the disruption, and the health issues with the strong fumes from the traditional oil-based products, and the effect they would have on our animals. We contacted SandFree and were intrigued by the process. After a little research, we decided to give it a try, but were very concerned when we were scheduled a week before Christmas. They arrived on time, and completed the job on schedule. There was minimal disruption. The results were great. The fumes, which were negligible, didn’t bother our animals at all”
“We never contacted any sanders for a competitive price. We didn’t want to sand any wear layers from our old floors. We didn’t want to change the mellow tone. We especially didn’t want the dust and to have to move out, with the animals. I’m not really sure if we would have refinished the floors if sanding were the only option. We had delayed refinishing them for years. In addition to looking great, the entire maintenance consists of swifting and the application of Phase III when the floors are dirty.”
